SUMMARY:Cerebral Palsy Summer Camp 2026
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for three days of sunshine\, smiles\, and summer fun at our annual Cerebral Palsy Summer Camp—hosted by Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children in partnership with Angel City Sports! Designed especially for children with cerebral palsy\, this unique camp brings together play\, creativity\, and inclusive sports in a safe\, supportive environment. \nFrom adapted sports and water games on our fully accessible playground to arts and crafts and team-building challenges\, every activity is crafted by LuskinOIC’s expert rehab team to ensure safety\, engagement\, and accessibility for all. Campers will be supported by clinical student volunteers\, Angel City Sports counselors\, and a crew of enthusiastic community helpers—all working together to create a joyful and empowering experience. \nThis year\, we’re also thrilled to welcome a special visit from Canine Companions—so get ready for some tail-wagging fun with these incredible service dogs in training! \nWhile independent participation is encouraged\, parents\, guardians\, or caregivers are always welcome. \nSnacks and lunches will be provided daily. If your camper has a specialized feeding program\, we kindly ask that you bring any required items with you. \nSunscreen? Check. Smiles? Guaranteed. We can’t wait to see you at camp! \n—– \nJoin us as clinical volunteers for LuskinOIC’s 4th annual summer camp for children with Cerebral Palsy\, being held June 10-12 on LuskinOIC’s Downtown campus. This unique three-day event\, hosted in collaboration with Angel City Sports\, offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working directly with children\, while assisting our dedicated rehabilitation staff. \nVolunteers will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our campers as they engage in adaptive sports\, crafts\, and team-building activities. Your participation will not only provide invaluable support to our event but also enrich your clinical skills and understanding. \nhttps://thriveadaptive.acemlna.com/lt.php?x=4lZy~GDFKabKE5B9-g5LVRJw2HzRitMfjxlgYaLIUFKb784uzky7wuNt1u3m-NFfx1GwZ5EWInea954K0N~K
