Position Overview

Inclusive Sol is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to help grow our online presence and storytelling. This role is ideal for students passionate about content creation, digital engagement, and social impact. You’ll take the lead in writing posts, designing graphics in Canva, and managing campaigns that highlight disability inclusion, equity, and advocacy—all while receiving one-on-one mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Write original content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
  • Create and design graphics, stories, and reels in Canva aligned with campaigns and events
  • Develop and maintain a social media editorial calendar
  • Track metrics and engagement to improve reach and performance
  • Research disability rights, inclusive practices, and health equity trends for content development
  • Support cross-promotion with partners and assist with digital campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on messaging and storytelling for advocacy initiatives

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Strong interest in Communications: Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or Journalism
  • Strong writing and editing skills with creativity for visual storytelling
  • Proficient in Canva; familiarity with social platforms and analytics tools a plus
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently

This internship is unpaid, structured to provide academic credit, and focuses on offering training and mentorship. Coordinator projects are designed to complement (not replace) the work of paid staff.
