Medi-Cal Basics
About the webinar:
Medi-Cal is California’s Medicaid program that provides free or low-cost health coverage to low-income individuals and families, including children, seniors, and people with disabilities. The training will cover the basics of the Medi-Cal program and discuss some changes that will be starting in 2026.
Reasonable Accommodations: American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be offered
Speaker: 
Todd Higgins lost his eyesight as the result of a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in 1983. He has been employed at Disability Rights California at the Advocacy and Community Engagement (ACE) group as a Senior Advocate since 2004 and has been working in the National Disability Rights Network for over 30 years.
